Detoxing? What does it actually mean?

During a detox it is required to set your nutrients intake to a 2-hours-rhythm. It’s best to start your detox treatment on the weekend. Especially when it’s the first time it is important to start slowly and observe how your body reacts to the change. It is also crucial to pay attention to your water intake: You should drink at least 2 litres a day! Green tea can support your detox as well, since it is high in antioxidants, which protect the body from free radicals. You should also make sure to sleep enough (7-8 hours are recommended), since the body’s natural purging and cleaning processes take place during this period of rest.
